This week we spent our time thinking about the logistics of our project and ways we could make it. We made a bill of materials that is still not set in stone since there are some things that we still need to figure out how to do.
We've decided to try as much as possible to eliminate any kind an individual display that's attached to our keyboard. We're trying to figure out how to display our code directly on the computer but haven't really achieved that yet. We worked on some of the code and have managed to print each letter every time we press a button. The next step would be to be able to select the letter with another button.
We've also been thinking on the housing / enclosure for our components and have an idea of what we want it to look and feel like.
Ideally we'd like to have soft edges for our enclosure to make it more approachable. I'd like it to have a slight inclination to prevent fatigue and have a small base where you can rest your heel. Maybe we can cover the enclosure with a nice material or something really soft.
